Harry Lehman (Turturro) is an aging pickpocket who plies his trade with ever-diminishing returns in a drastically changed New York. Wallets stuffed with cash have been replaced by easily cancelled credit cards, and Harry struggles to make ends meet as he cares for his disabled wife. When he unwittingly purloins and fences a valuable USB stick, Harry finds himself in a race against time to return the loot or face the rage of a vengeful crime family.

Harry Lehman est un pickpocket vieillissant. Il est toujours actif et assez adroit, mais les revenus sont en baisse constante. New York a beaucoup changé, le monde aussi. Exemple: dans les portefeuilles, l’argent comptant a été remplacé par des cartes de crédit facilement blocables. Pour Harry, qui s’occupe de son épouse handicapée, les fins de mois sont de plus en plus difficiles. Un jour, il dérobe une clé USB, ignorant la grande valeur de celle-ci. Il devra faire un choix difficile: rendre l’objet volé ou subir les foudres d’une impitoyable famille de criminels. Le temps presse.
