CTV BEST IN SHORTS COMPETITION

Cinéfest Sudbury, in partnership with CTV, is thrilled to reveal the finalists for this year’s CTV Best in Shorts Competition, which received an outstanding number of submissions from talented filmmakers across Northern Ontario. This year’s finalists, who will now have their work screened to a festival audience, receive exposure within the film industry, and have a chance to compete for a variety of cash prizes, include:

• SECOND PLACE WINNER! The Stain — MJ Dionne of Sudbury, ON
• NORTHERN FLICKS AWARD WINNER! Save Solace — Matthew Steeves of Temagami, ON
• Cupid’s Assist — Richard Barlow of Sudbury, ON
• How to Eat a Rainbow — Tom Reid of Sudbury, ON
• Lucy’s Birthday — Liam Siebolt of North Bay, ON
• The Painted Knight — Ben Bruhmuller of Sudbury, ON
• The Snipers — Kelly Saxberg and Ron Harpelle of Thunder Bay, ON
