WHEN WILL THE 2022 EDITION OF CINEFEST SUDBURY INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL TAKE PLACE?

The 34th edition is set to take place September 17-25, 2022.

ARE GIFT CERTIFICATES AVAILABLE?

Gift certificates are available to purchase year-round at the Cinéfest Sudbury office, located at 40 Larch Street, Unit 103, or by phone at 705-688-1234.

Gala tickets are specific to each night’s respective Gala film presentation.

* All ticket and passport prices include HST. Single tickets are only available in the “rush line” at the Cinéfest SilverCity Box Office prior to individual screenings (subject to availability). Passports and general admission tickets can also be purchased and used for public Cinema Summit activities.

WHAT DOES THE CINÉFEST PASSPORT OFFER?

For $275.00, the CINÉFEST PASSPORT grants access to:

  • All festival film presentations at SilverCity Sudbury (17 to 25 SEP); including Gala film presentations (17 to 25 SEP)
    • 18 and 23 SEP après-film receptions: 2x complimentary drink tickets, complimentary hors d’oeuvres
  • One-time viewing of all films available virtually (passport holders will be provided with information on accessing virtual films closer to festival start date) 
  • Cinema 9 Prime Time screenings (these are individually ticketed events with limited seating, subject to availability; please present your Passport at the Cinéfest Box Office in advance to obtain a ticket) 
  • Public Cinema Summit activities 

 

PLEASE NOTE: Seating for all screenings is determined on a first-come, first-served basis.

For $400.00, the CINÉFEST PASSPORT PLUS grants access to:

  • All festival film presentations at SilverCity Sudbury (17 to 25 SEP); including Gala film presentations (17 to 25 SEP)
    • 18 and 23 SEP après-film receptions: 2x complimentary drink tickets, complimentary hors d’oeuvres
  • One-time viewing of all films available virtually (passport holders will be provided with information on accessing virtual films closer to festival start date) 
  • Cinema 9 Prime Time screenings (these are individually ticketed events with limited seating, subject to availability; please present your Passport at the Cinéfest Box Office in advance to obtain a ticket) 
  • Public Cinema Summit activities 
  • Hospitality Trailer (SilverCity) with a curated daily selection of treats and refreshments

PLEASE NOTE: Seating for all screenings is determined on a first-come, first-served basis.

CAN I REFUND OR EXCHANGE MY CINÉFEST PASSPORT/PASSPORT PLUS?

There are no refunds or exchanges for Cinéfest passports.

RED CARPET PATRON PROGRAM

Cinéfest Sudbury is proud to present the Red Carpet Patron Program, a new subscription-based program for dedicated festival fans to keep the spirit of Cinéfest alive all year long! The Red Carpet Patron Program celebrates passionate lovers of cinema and supporters of the film festival through year-round programming and incentives for registered patrons. More information on upcoming screenings and patron perks can be found by clicking “Red Carpet Patron Program” at the top right corner of this page. 

HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR THE RED CARPET PATRON PROGRAM?

Red Carpet Patron Passes are currently available for sale through our box office only, if interested, please visit us at 40 Larch St., Unit 103, or call us at 705-688-1234 (Mon-Fri, 9-5 PM).

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY WELCOME PACKAGE?

Red Carpet Patron Program welcome packages will be sent out at the beginning of each new yearly quarter. For more information, you can contact us by email at redcarpet@cinefest.com or by phone at 705-688-1234.

RED CARPET PATRON PROGRAM FILM SCREENINGS

Red Carpet Patrons no longer require reserved tickets. Please ensure you have your Red Carpet Patron card with you when attending each quarterly film screening—your unique QR code on the back of your card will grant you entry into the film screening.

HOW DO I ORDER ADDITIONAL TICKETS?

Additional tickets are available to purchase at www.cinefest.com/rcpp.

ARE TICKETS AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC?

Yes. Tickets to each of the 4 Red Carpet Patron Program film screenings are available to the general public for $12.50 and are not exclusive to Red Carpet Patrons. However, we strongly encourage patrons interested in attending these screenings to consider joining the Red Carpet Patron Program, as Red Carpet Patrons will receive (1) one FREE ticket to each of the 4 film screenings, in addition to other perks, all for only $35! 

ARE THE FILM SCREENINGS AVAILABLE ONLINE?

No. Each of the 4 Red Carpet Patron Program film screenings will take place at SilverCity Sudbury on their respective dates, unless otherwise noted by Cinéfest Sudbury staff. Consider signing up for our newsletter or following us on social media to remain updated if any changes are set to occur.
